Building the Perfect Bumper - A How To Order Guide

CVF Offroad makes it incredibly easy to customize your bumper to fit your exact needs. Let's walk through the customization process for a Chevy Silverado 2500 Front Bumper together.

Step 1: Choose your insert color. All of our bumpers are powder coated with an extra durable black coating, but each bumper also has 3-5 inserts that can be customized to your liking. These billet inserts are coated with an ultra durable non-fading finish by Cerakote™. As you can see below, there are 6 different finish options: Polished, Stealth Black, Gun Metal Gray, Desert Sand, Fire Red, and C3 - Ceramic Clear Coat. If none of these colors entice you or you want to color match on your own, please select the "polished" finish.

Step 2: Choose your front plate options. The biggest decision when it comes to front plate options is whether or not you want to keep your OEM sensors as provided by the manufacturer. In our example, the Chevy 2500 has front end parking sensors. If we want to keep them, we will want to make a selection that says "Parking Sensors". Once you decide on sensors, you can customize the rest of the plate as you wish with openings for a winch, light bars, pod mount lights, or flush mount lights. Each product page will have an image that shows what each front plate option looks like.

Step 3: Choose your side plate options. Very similar to the front plate selection, we now need to decide how we want our side plates to look. Depending on the vehicle, you will likely have more sensor decisions that need to be made. In our example, the Silverado 2500 also has side mounted parking sensors that we need to account for in our selection.

Step 4: Include a Bull Bar. CVF Offroad gives you the option of adding a bull bar to nearly all of its bumpers. All bull bars are bolt on and can be removed at any time.

Step 5: The remaining options on the product page allow you to complete your bumper package with CVF Offroad branded LED Lights, Light Bars, and Winches. Please note that these are not required. Most LED lights and winches on the market have universal mounting holes and will work with CVF Offroad bumpers.
